Tellica Imaging is adding Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators (DMBA), Samera Health, and EMI Health to its list of in-network insurers effective January 1st, 2023. PEHP is also expanding the number of members which can benefit by using Tellica Imaging. These insurers represent over 14 new health plans.

“We are excited that DMBA, EMI, and Samera Health are now in-network with Tellica Imaging,” Brad Isaacson, Chief Operating Officer at Tellica Imaging said. “This will provide more opportunities for patients to seek high quality, affordable diagnostic scans throughout Utah. All MRI/CTs are applied towards a patient’s deductible and the savings can be astronomical.”

Tellica Imaging is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intermountain Health. It comprises community-based radiology centers providing diagnostic scans. Locations are based along the Wasatch Front, with plans to expand to more locations shortly. The first sites opened in December 2021, offering high quality scans and exceptional patient care at prices well below hospital rates. The flat-rate prices are posted centrally on the website, representing the maximum out-of-pocket for any patient. For patients under existing or new partner health plans, the price is even lower once deductibles are met.

The new insurers join SelectHealth, Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE in providing network coverage at Tellica Imaging. Tellica Imaging continues to accept most major credit and debit cards, and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards for payments at the time of scheduling a scan.
