Yes, our facilities are fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific needs or require assistance, please let us know in advance, and our staff will be happy to assist you.
If you experience claustrophobia, please inform us in advance. We offer various techniques to help you feel more comfortable during your MRI, such as relaxation techniques. In some cases, medications may be prescribed by your referring physician to help with anxiety. Please note that we do not administer sedation at Tellica sites. If sedation is needed (e.g., general anesthesia), we will redirect you to have your scan done at the hospital.
If you have a medical implant or device, such as a pacemaker or metal prosthesis, please inform us before scheduling your appointment. Some devices may not be compatible with MRI scans, and alternative imaging options may be recommended.
If you are pregnant or think you might be, please let us know. We usually recommend avoiding CT or MRI scans during pregnancy unless it's absolutely necessary. Our policy is to avoid injecting contrast or administering radiation (like in a CT scan) if you're pregnant or suspect you might be. If a scan is needed, we'll take all necessary precautions. If you feel strongly about completing the scan or if it's essential, we'll ask you to sign a waiver that releases Tellica from any liability.
For questions or to schedule an imaging test, please visit us at one of our convenient locations or call us directly. Our friendly staff is here to help you with any questions and assist in determining the most appropriate imaging service for your needs.
